Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by computer systems. These processes encompass learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using it), reasoning (the ability to draw conclusions from available information), and self-correction. AI can manifest in various forms, such as machine learning, where algorithms improve their performance as they are exposed to more data; natural language processing, which involves the interaction between computers and humans through spoken or written language; and robotics, which combines AI with physical machines.

AI systems can be categorized as narrow AI, which is designed to perform a specific task (like facial recognition or language translation), or general AI, which refers to a theoretical system that possesses the ability to perform any intellectual task that a human can do. The goal of AI research is to create algorithms and models that can perform complex tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a way that mimics human thought processes. AI has applications across numerous fields, including healthcare, finance, transportation, and entertainment, significantly impacting how we work, communicate, and live.
